Aerial Views of a Covered Bridge
The aerial drone photos and video help show the quaint beauty of a historic wooden covered bridge spanning a small river, nestled between sprawling farmers’ fields.
The rustic wooden bridge, with its classic wooden structure, contrasts beautifully with the vibrant greenery of the surrounding fields. The meandering creek flows peacefully beneath, adding a touch of natural charm to the pastoral landscape. The images offer a picturesque view of rural serenity and timeless architecture in harmony with nature.
Note: There are two different dates of photos and video shown here, (one from July and one from August).
Wheaton Covered Bridge
The bridge known locally as Wheaton Covered Bridge is located along High Marsh Road, in Sackville, New Brunswick.
Built, in 1916, it is about 50 m long, and named after Thomas Wheaton, who lived in the last house on the road before the bridge, and may have, at the time of building the bridge, owned the land where the bridge is located.
The bridge was closed to traffic in summer of 2024.
