A hyperlapse is a form of time-lapse video where the camera moves a significant distance through space between each captured photograph, creating a dynamic, 3D “flying” effect for the viewer.

Unlike a traditional time-lapse, which is shot from a stationary position, a hyperlapse involves substantial camera movement, often achieved with hand-held gimbals or by walking along a path. The collected photos are then compiled into an accelerated video, which appears to move the audience through the scene.

The special effects makes it appear that there is a lot of traffic in this small town, and that everyone drives really fast. There is a section created from images captured during the day and a segment created from images captured at night.
